Pandora Mother's Day 2018 Collection – Catalog and Prices

Today we're revealing a preview of PANDORA's 2018 Mother's Day collection! The underlying theme is, of course, a motherly theme, but with a touch more originality than we've seen in the past couple of years. Featuring a selection of bows, balloons, and little animals, you'll find a collection inspired by the feelings and joy of spring.



This post includes all the jewelry in the collection, including charms, bracelets, pendants, and locks.

Preview of the Mother's Day 2018 collection

Let's start with the bracelets: we have three new bracelet designs coming out for Mother's Day! The Flourishing Hearts bracelet is engraved with the words "Love Makes a Family." The Sparkling Floating Locket bracelet's clasp works like a lock, which means you can choose a petite to add to it.

However, my favorite of these three is the bracelet at the top – it has a beautiful lace pattern, and is in plain silver.

Moving on to charms, we have a cute decorative set coming out in April – I’m curious to see how the Brilliant Bow works on a bracelet! ????

I love the Flourishing Hearts pendant, and the Shiny Bow clips are also really cute. It's always nice to see new safety chain designs, too.

There are a couple of hearts and traditional charms, but I think Pandora did a good job of sticking to the Mother's Day theme while thinking outside the box. The Elephant & Balloon charms are absolutely sweet and a lovely way to celebrate a new arrival, while the house and birds are really cute.

My latest collage features a series of charms dedicated to special occasions and milestones! There are wedding charms—one for the bridesmaids, and another depicting a bride and groom—while the bouquet and cake would be perfect for a wedding but could also be used for other purposes.

My comments

This collection is a definite departure from the usual hearts and traditional charms, instead offering a renewed focus on special moments rather than generic sentiments. The entire collection has a rather festive feel, with enameled balloons, cakes, bouquets, and pretty bows, which always remind me of gifts. I feel like there's been a real push in Pandora's collections this year to try some new ideas, focusing heavily on character charms.
My favorites from this set are the beautiful lace bracelet, the Bright Hearts safety chain, the Flourishing Hearts pendant, and the Shiny Bow clips. If I were a new mom, I'd also love the elephant charm—such a cute way to commemorate a new arrival. I much prefer these options to the previous baby birthstone beads.
